How are Incentives Calculated?

Incentives are given to the issuing Agent as additional compensation for the bulk AWB sales. The assessed incentive depends on the agreement between carriers and their clients.

The incentive value is the difference between the Gross Amount and Net Amount in the AWB. This happens in bulk AWBs where usually, the Sell Price is lower than the IATA published rate.

The Net Amount displayed on the AWB screen is based on the Chargeable Weight and the Selling Rate. The difference between the Gross Amount and the Net Amount is the Incentive amount given to the Agent.
